On Monday, 14 June 2021, EMBRC officially launched its new flagship project, the European Marine Omics Biodiversity Observation Network (EMO BON). On 21 June 2021, selected EMO BON participants began conducting their first-ever sampling, taking samples from the water column and soft substrates.

The project has published metadata logsheets (see blue link below) for the rigorous collection of metadata from all sampling campaigns:

  • EMO BON Water column metadata logsheet (updated July 2021)
  • EMO BON Soft substrates metadata logsheet (updated July 2021)

The logsheets will be updated for each sampling campaign.
