Attention, this is not an April Fool’s Day joke! This is a real EMO BON sampling campaign announcement. In April 2022 EMO BON participating sites will be sampling the water column and soft substrates microorganisms, meiobenthos, and macrobenthos. It is suggested that participants schedule their sampling campaigns for the second half of the month.

Participants are asked to fill in metadata spreadsheets as soon as possible after a sampling event. Keeping rich and complete metadata records is important for data FAIRification and for the scientific context of EMO BON datasets.

Don't forget to follow EMO BON on social media via EMBRC's channels (twitter: @EMBRC_EU, Linkedin: @EMBRC - European Marine Biological Resource Centre) using #EMOBON.
