February marks the first EMO BON sampling campaign of 2022! This month, participants will be sampling the water column and microorganisms from soft substrates.

Keeping rich and complete metadata records is important for data FAIRification and for the scientific context of EMO BON datasets.

Following a sampling event, participants are asked to fill in the metadata spreadsheets as soon as possible. This ensures a minimum of explanatory information for the analyses of the data.
