Analysis of pigments (HPLC), nutrients (SAN++ system from SKALAR), fatty acids (GC-FID and GC-MS), lipid and free vitamin C (HPLC has a thermo-controlled autosampler and column compartment and is equipped with UV-DAD, fluorescence and ELSD detectors). Analysis of grain size (Malvern Hydro 2000G), particle size (Beckman Coulter multisizer), sediments (TOC, TN, TOM and carbonates). Fatty acid methyl ester separation (gas chromatograph equipped with an FID and a single quadrupole mass spectrometer)
