EMBRC speeds up innovation in marine biology and ecology research through a wide range of scientific services to support academic and industry researchers performing on-site or remotely.
Conducting research comes with many challenges such as logistical and geographical constraints, limited access to cutting-edge equipment, and budget restrictions. Our research infrastructure provides solutions to these barriers: we facilitate resource sharing through access to research services across our unique pan-European infrastructure network, enabling researchers to make efficient and impactful new discoveries.

EMBRC’s Industry Applications

Access to EMBRC services can be funded by Transnational Access (TA) programmes, through EU projects. If accepted for TA support, scientists can access EMBRC’s services at no charge. This removes financial barriers for researchers and makes scientific development more accessible.
Scientific and Technical Knowledge

EMBRC enables high-quality and interdisciplinary research to foster scientific excellence. Our highly skilled teams have the scientific and technical knowledge to advise and train researchers to use EMBRC’s services and expertise. Researchers who would benefit from our services and expertise to further their work can apply for EMBRC’s support via our online service catalogue.
