On Friday, March 22nd, Nicolas Pade, Executive Director of the European Marine Biology Resource Center (EMBRC), will participate in the panel "Revitalizing Ecosystems: Biodiversity Restoration on Land and Sea," organized by Hello Tomorrow as part of the 2024 Global Summit.

Hello Tomorrow event

Measuring, mapping, monitoring, and restoring ecosystems is crucial in addressing biodiversity collapse. How can science help advance knowledge on such complex ecosystems? What role do technology and innovation play in addressing these challenges? How to finance innovation for biodiversity as our global public good?

Nicolas Pade will be joining a host of experts Laurie Menoud (At One Ventures), Axelle Ducos (Land Life), Jen Stebbing (Climate and Nature Communications) to discuss how innovative ocean monitoring methods such as eDNA, are essential for effective restoration. He will also explain why accelerating scientific development and promoting innovation are so important to the scientific community.
